Breadfruit Flour Essentials 3-Pack – Gluten Free, Plant Based, High Fiber

My concern was that breadfruit would be too dry or gritty, but it actually had a really smooth texture and worked great in my usual recipes. I used it for both flatbreads and a quick batch of muffins, and both came out surprisingly well.

The flavor is slightly earthier than what I’m used to but not in a bad way, just different. Took a bit of tweaking to get the water ratio right, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

At first I was worried that my kids would notice the difference, but they didn’t say a word and just cleaned their plates. That’s the real test in our house. I’ll take it as a win!

I was really excited to try this flour and the bread I made with it was very nice. Very happy to have another option for gluten free flours!
